Default boot device missing
No bootable device and Default boot device missing.
 Now a days Many Of Acer Laptops are having problems, showing error massage No bootable device or  Default boot device missing  this errors sometimes shows if we try to install a OS which is corrupt or sometimes anything happens with our OS. Maybe you shut down your pc alright and next time when you try to boot up it shows these errors. Reasons of these errors could be as follows :-

  • Corrupt OS :- If you tried to install a corrupt OS in your PC it will try replace the existing OS and will delete or over wright the OS but if your OS is corrupt it will fail and will also corrupt the existing OS and you will see a error like this.
  • Error in Existing OS :- If you have tried to make some change in your OS and you failed it the next time when you reboot your PC it will show you these error.
  • Corrupt HDD or SSD :- If you HDD somehow crushes or if your HDD is damaged then you will see the same error
Now if you are facing these errors in your PC you should go though the following steps to fix your PC.

  1. Try repairing the OS :- At the first step you should try the installation of a OS again or you can try repairing your OS. If you are using a windows OS then you should go through the following steps.
    1. Insert a windows Bootable CD/USB.
    2. If you see a message asking you to “Press any key to boot from DVD,” do so. If you don’t see the message, you might need to change the boot order in your computer's BIOS settings so that it first starts from the DVD or USB.
    3. When you see the Install Windows page, tap or click Repair your computer to start the Windows Recovery Environment.
    4. In the Windows Recovery Environment, on the Choose an option screen, tap or click Troubleshoot.
    5. Tap or click, advanced options and then click on Startup repair.
After this complete the repair and see if you are able to boot in to your computer.
